Western Star Signs
You are opposites in many ways, and yet you can be complementary. Virgo is discriminating, precise, analytical, critical, and something of a perfectionist. Order, exactitude, and attention to details are important to Virgo. Pisces, on the other hand, is more concerned with the overall feeling and can be quite lax, disorganized, and downright sloppy, compared to Virgo. Pisces is also much less judgmental and difficult to please than Virgo is. Pisces's accepting attitude can be very comforting to Virgo, who tends to be too hard and self-critical.
But Pisces's inability to set limits, stick to diets, budgets, or abide by rules in general may irritate Virgo, especially if you two work closely together or live together. Both of you have a gentle and basically humble nature and you both need a lot of sympathetic understanding from friends. You can be excellent friends. Virgo's clear factual reasoning ability balances Pisces's emotionalism, and Pisces's emotional sensitivity and compassion balance Virgo's tendency to be too analytical.
Each one of you can be accommodating and obliging. Essentially, you're both versatile and enjoy variety. You're both pretty good at adapting to change and going with the flow. In fact, you'd both usually rather go with the tide than against it. Between the two of you there are probably sixteen or seventeen projects going on at the same time. It is important to establish priorities in several arenas of your life.
Virgo is essentially level-headed with something of a flair for statistics and analysis. Virgo is highly selective and prone to inquiries and examinations. Probably, Pisces will find Virgo to be practical, methodical and in possession of natural money handling abilities.
There are at least two sides to Pisces's personality. One side is more kind, loving, tolerant and long-suffering than most people. The other can be biting. Pisces, you don't want to hurt people, unless you are feeling righteous and need to punish the guilty.
If you don't stand up for yourself Virgo will mistake this for weakness on your part. Their critical ways need to be responded to. You don't immediately react and prefer to brood over an issue until the right occasion arises. Learn to respond more quickly to Virgo and the relationship will fare better. The onus is on Virgo to pull back and not make such heavy demands on you.

Chinese Star Signs
This is a mating of opposites. The Rat is bright, gregarious, witty and fun, the Ox is shy, serious, and set in their ways. As lovers fireworks can be expected. They will test each other's endurance over and over again. Their overall compatibility rating is 60%.
The Chinese Astrological Ox is neither slow witted nor clumsy. These powerful, dependable beings were meant to lead. While their approach to fulfilling a task may be slow and methodical, they are capable of great things and never lose sight of their goals. Their stamina is endless and they are detail conscious. They believe in getting things right the first time.
To outsiders Oxen may seem to be too serious and unable to "let their hair down." Being introverts, these are easy assumptions to make about Oxen. Also they are very independent and appear to have no regard for what others think of them. However, hidden behind that distant air shown to the world, is a being that feels pain, loneliness and regret that they do not connect well with others.
The Oxen's comforts and delights are derived from friends and family and work well done. As a friend, lover or family member the Ox makes a reliable and protective ally who is always tender and affectionate.
When away from the family and out in the world the Ox can be stubborn and dogmatic. They are not ones to back down or take much guff from anyone.
The Ox is a good source of honest advice.
The Ox needs to try to be less quick to judge others. When they see the value of those who have qualities different than their own they are well on their way to a warmer social life.
